The ADAM24 by ST Audio is an extremely flexible and affordable multi-channel AD/DA converter featuring an ADAT interface housed in a sturdy external rack.

Designed predominantly for use in the project studio, the ADAM24 provides excellent functionality, performance and flexability when connected to your ADAT equiped recording PC or other ADAT compatible devices such as HD-recorders, digital mixers or digital tape recorders. The ADAM24 uses high quality 24bit AD/DA converters delivering uncompromising sound, and with the ADAT interface is extremely well suited for use in all kinds of studio setups. The ADAM24 converts your digital data streams reliably and professionally to audio signals. Simultaneously it will bring your analog signals into the digital domain with absolute pristine fidelity.

Features include - eight analog inputs, eight analog outputs. Two of the eight analog inputs on the ADAM24 include XLR balanced connectors and feature independant quality microphone pre-amplifiers with gain controls and switchable phantom power. This eliminates the need to incorporate a separate mixer in many situations. You can plug in an instrument or microphone, set the gain levels and start recording immediately! A huge step forward in simplifying requirements in many situations.

Use ADAM24 to combine it with your ADAT compatible audio interface card installed in your PC or Mac. Or use ADAM24 as analog I/O interface for your digital mixer or HD-recorder. The unit simply delivers all you need to record with professional results using the ADAT optical interface. This product is based on the design of our ADC&DAC2000, part of the worldwide top-selling DSP2000 C-Port recording system. This allowed ST Audio to deliver one the most affordable ADAT compatible multichannel AD/DA converters on the market today.
